Overview

For project 2 our team was split into two sections, computing and modeling. Computing was responsible for the creation of the code that the Q arm would run off of and modeling was responsible for designing and 3D printing the container that the arm would be lifting. I was on the modeling team for this project and had to design a container that would securely hold a tool while still allowing for good airflow for sterilization and while being low cost and lightweight.

Milestone 1

Milestone 1 involved creating our list of objectives, constraints and functions. As well as creating a morphological analysis for the project. This milestone was done by the computing and modeling teams together as we were still outlining what the project was going to look like.

Milestone 2

Milestone 2 involved the creation of low fidelity prototypes for our preliminary designs (modeling team) and the presentation of our preliminary flow charts for the code (computing team). Both of which (designs and flow charts) would be peer reviewed and judged on how well it would fit the project.
